Brahman
Brahman is the eternal, unchanging and infinite reality which is the divine god of all matter, energy, time, space, being and everything beyond the Universe. Brahman is the ground of all reality and existence. Brahman is uncreated, external, infinite and all-embracing. It is the ultimate cause and goal of all that exists. It is One and it is All. All beings emanate from Brahman; all beings will return back to the same source. Brahman is in all things and it is the true Self (Atman) of all beings.

Atman
The Sanskrit word ‘Atman’
means ‘self’, plain and simple. It refers to an inmost self that is
pure spirit, at the living centre of each person’s body, sense and mind.
The self-called Atman is that inmost knowing principle which is shared
in common by our confused identifications. It is that plain and simple
self which is found only by reflecting back to it, to it’s pure knowing
unconfused with outward personality.http://hinduism4kids.tumblr.com
